Which application have issues reading PS PSD files and how can I fix that?

PSP (Paint Shop Pro) does no longer support PS PSD files. There is however a way around it. Opening the file in Gimp and saving it under a different name but as a PSD file will let you work with the LMC templates in PSP.

Photoshop Elements does not support layer folders. Please IM or contact Niah Larsson if you are interested in using the LMC Templates with PS elements before purchase.

You can find more troubleshooting and answers under FAQ.

Why use PSD files and not the In-World delivered full perm TGAs?

Full perm TGAs will not allow you to adjust details, change fabric, add textures or change folds and shading. The files are rendered and flattened once you save them to your hard drive. We do offer some designer kits as simple TGA files for those who only want the “alpha shape”

So we at LMC Content Creation have decided to offer PSD files that let you customize your designs to any degree you wish. We do not believe in quick full perm retail making every design look the same. We deliver templates that set you off on the road of designing, all textures, shading, folds and creases come on separate layer that let you work with the elements to create your own special look or integrate into your own designs.

Additionally to that we offer a wide variety of PS brushes, full perm textures and add on kits. All LMC products can be mixed and matched, used “as is” or added to your own line of clothing.

How can I use the LMC Templates for retail?

You may use the LMC products to create clothing you may then resell under your name in second life. You may however under no circumstances sell designs or textures that were created with LMC elements as PSD files or full perm textures. Any violation of the terms will be followed up by a DMCA take down notice and legal actions.
